Finally got all the meters read - in the dry.

it's been a reasonable productive day so far

As for me? That's another story...

it started with my phone dying on me this morning. So I took a half day to go into Town and buy a Bill phone. I picked out the phone and deal I was going to purchase before going in.

It happens that my passport is out of date and I don't have a driving license. Without either, I cannot set up a bill account. Eventhough I had bank statements and work photo ID.

So I bought a cheap credit/top up phone. Cheap and tacky. So I'm walking Max, my phone is in my top jacket pocket. Max does his poo, I bend down to pick it up and you can guess the rest.....

Phone landed directly in the middle of the 'mound'.

To say I'm annoyed is an understatement...

The moral is

I'm beginning to think that I need a bit of heat first thing in the morning - and it's too early to be putting on the heating

Seems to have been an interesting night

Lots of rain and some wind. Despite being , I thought , suitable placed one of my bins has had the lid up all night and now has a puddle in it another one has moved but fortunately the lid stayed down
