Pope Francis called the refusal to recognize the State of Israel anti-Semitic, The Times of Israel reported today. The Pope also clarified that, contrary to media reports, he had not called Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas “an angel of peace.”

Well, very few people say anything remotely like the last four shouldn't exist. There are a lot more people who don't believe Israel does have a right to exist.

Are you kidding? Most Palestinians deny it, and most Arab states deny it. A lot of people on the left deny it. If you go to our Universities, you will find a lot of Students that deny it, and usually a few Professors as well that deny it and cause a lot of trouble agitating. Israel has been trying to negotiate with the Palestinians their right to exist for decades.

I just remembered, I HAVE met people who stated that Israel has no right to exist. They had a table or two at Friends-of-the-NRA affiliated gun shows and they were Jew-hating, conservative "survivalists".
