Getting back to the unanswered question from earlier, what should be done with the fetal tissue left after abortion? Please keep in mind that abortion is and will remain legal in the US for the foreseeable future.

Some of us are saying that the pro-life movement is lying about these dismembered babies are being sold. The FACT of the matter is, in the video, she's discussing how the dismemberments are performed to carefully preserve the body parts considered most valuable. THAT IS SICK. Point blank. And it's true. She said it herself. So stop saying they're lying.

You are right. There is no lying going on. That claim is just a ploy by those who for whatever reason disagree with the ProLife position. The long video clearly shows what the shorter video shows except you have to wade through a lot of technical talk with the long video. Money is clearly involved here. The legality of it isn't clear. And if you read the transcript (which is available online as a PDF file) you can read the actual words regarding money. What is discussed is how to stay under certain levels of money so as not to violate the law or draw attention to the organization. Once the "tissues" leave PP and go to Stem Express, they are processed and you can order online fetal livers Stem/Progenitor Cells for up to 2 thousand dollars.

Even if the law isn't being violated and all this $$ is on the up and up, they are harvesting the body parts of the unborn by killing the babies and then extracting them from their mothers in such a way as to protect those organs from any damage. In some cases, where the head survived intact, they sell the heads (for costs they say.) The harvesting of body parts "to save lives through research" doesn't seem to bother those on the left. As if it's noble to kill the unborn to save some adult with some disease.

Those claiming the video is a lie are just uninformed or just playing to their ideology. The full video is clear. Something terrible is going on. And the transcript is only 60 pages and you can read that in no time at all. You can even watch the video and read along (as the video is difficult to understand in parts because of the background noise. At least for me it was).

The abortions were going to happen in any case and the other option is that the body parts become medical waste, how is that preferable?

I suggest they keep being filmed like they were. shucks they should set up auctions for the parts (and bet your bottom dollar they have taken donations from some of the same companies they distribute human parts to). Lets see more sales go down

because what we have seen from public reaction is that on a certain level the majority of population STILL realizes deep down these ARE babies that are being killed.its the only reason there is outrage and/or discomfort.

Do the maths. The medical companies want the parts because they ARE human or they could just as well use mice or pigs.

You are exactly right Mike. It's a baby. When posters here refer to tissue they mean heart, liver, head, muscle, and whatever else can be harvested. "Fetal Tissue = "Well we can't call it what is really is so let's use some benign term that sounds somewhat medical."

That makes no sense.

Most of the people in the thread agree abortion is wrong. But only some of them are carrying on about how awful it is that the remains are being used for research purposes. I still don't see the problem. If you don't want them being used for research, fine, but remembering they were going to be aborted anyway, what is your preferred alternative?
