From the beginning of the world, there was opposition. Before sin entered it, and while Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, there was opposition. Opposition to what? Opposition to God's will, a force for sinfulness, the devil.

Was Satan summoned by Adam and Eve? Was he banished to our newly created planet as a punishment? He was here as a part of God's will for God's glory imo.

Ask yourself, what Bible story would be a Bible story without some form of opposition? In every story there HAS to be an enemy, a bad guy, a group of rebels to the one and only God, even dating back to the beginning.

And this alone is very very interesting, because the structure can't be blamed on "human choice" because before Adam and Eve chose to sin, Satan was there. He didn't come to the Earth as a consequence of their sin, he was there already.

What's odd about the 'good guy vs. bad guy' set up, that is God and his people triumphing over the devil and those that are not God's people is that God is the creator of us all. There is no living thing that He did not create. So He created His own opposition, knowing in advance that the opposition would become opposition by sinning against Him, and sin is something He hates.

The only thing I can think of is it's all for His glory. Conquering the rebellious enemies He created whose actions and abilities are limited by His will. Satan had to ask permission before he could plague Job.

So is all of this about God glorifying Himself by defeating a created enemy? Again, for us, there was a time on Earth where there were no human enemies of God. And yet still God placed an enemy on Earth, an opponent to His will. Whether for testing or conflict or whatever, Satan was kicked out of God's perfect heaven and placed onto our perfect Earth.

So God would create His enemies to destroy His enemies to bring glory to Himself. All structured into this theoretical "free will" structure where we are to believe that every created being has a choice to serve or rebel against God, yet realistically speaking there will be and must be enemies of God to destroy both for God's glory and for his prophetic words to come true.

very interesting topic, IMO lucifer was an angel created in good will, but chose to be rebellious against God using his gift of free will, I don't believe God created anything just to loathe and destroy it. I think we ARE here in flesh to realise and make our own choice about spirituality because EVERY living person has chosen how they feel on the subject, spirituality is present in us all, its iall your choice where it goes from there
