President Obama has said that the USA won't stop until the al Queda operatives behind this hilarious flop of an attack are caught and brought to justice.

Geography is never debatable. From wiki:

Saudi Arabia (officially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) is an Western Asian country and the largest country of the Middle East

I still feel like a nerd.

Back to the topic of the opening post.

A passenger in an airplane tries to set-off a bomb intended to kill himself and about 300 other people. Not soldiers; not enemy combatants- just ordinary men, women and children from a multitude of ethic and religious backgrounds.

There is really nothing extraordinary about this attack- in Iraq on almost the same day, 23 ordinary folks are killed by a series of bomb blasts; in Pakistan today, a suicide bomber kills at least 30 ordinary citizens in Karachi.

So what do these attacks, and hundreds in recent months like them, have in common?

They involve heinous, barbaric attacks by terrorists who profess to be Muslims, following the will of Allah.

Do we see similar attacks by Christian zealots? No. By Hindu fundamentalists? No. By a bunch of deranged Buddhists? No. By a bunch of misguided atheists? No.

So if Muslims are not to blame, why is it that so many maniacs carry out these attacks in the name of Islam? What is it in Islam that is being misinterpreted and that gives these barbarians the justification to carry out their heinous acts?

There are no countries were Christianity truly rules the way that Islam rules Muslim countries. When there were, Christians committed horrifying acts of political terror.

In America, Jews are a perfectly peaceful people. There are places in Israel where roving gangs of Orthodox Jews set fire to business and break into people's houses to beat women who aren't dressed conservatively enough.

In America, Hindus are perfectly reasonable, peaceful people. In India, you see this Hindu extremists' reward to kill Christians, as Britain refuses to bar members - Times Online

In America, Buddhism is about peace. In Sri Lanka: Buddhist extremists target Christian churches in Sri Lanka

The problem is not any individual religion. Violence and corruption erupt whenever any religion becomes the dominant political force.

The scary thing about this attack is that the powerful explosive used, PETN, cannot be easily detected using current security checks.

This being the case, it seems to me to be only a matter of time before someone successfully smuggles this explosive on-board and detonates it.

So what can be done to counter this threat?

1. passengers need to become more involved as additional eyes and ears in helping to identify potential terrorists or acts of terrorism, and reporting them. If you see someone nervously fiddling with a suspicious package at an airport, for example- report them! If you're on a plane, be aware of how the person beside you is acting- and report anyone acting suspiciously; for example, if someone is obviously well, and then disappears into a lavatory for a half hour, they should be watched more carefully and asked to explain their actions.

2. more profiling based on race and religion needs to occur.

3. window seats, where a bomb would likely do the most damage, should be reserved for passengers with impeccable security clearance.

4. better chemical tests to detect chemicals like nitrates need to be developed.

5. more of the modern body scanners need to be installed at airports.

and finally,

don't forget to pray for safety before you board a plane; ask God to be there to keep you safe.

Islamic extremists are the 7th head of the beast, and have now started the Battle of Ar Mageddon -- when the Euphrates was dry on 9/11.

Bomb tied to <staff edit>
Your ticket says that you’re not comin’ back
To get past airport security when you’re in Amsterdam
You’re gonna need a walk thru from a sharp dressed man!

No name, or passport
What you need is CIA support
Your father called, and warned the cops
When they need a patsy they pull out the stops
Detonate the bomb just before the plane can land
All you need’s a walk thru from a sharp dressed man!

Best seat, on the plane
If you want those people to go down in flames
By the fuel, in the wing
Have somebody else film the entire thing!
The Patriot Act gets extended with another false flag plan
Thanks to a walk thru from a sharp dressed man!
