Last night I had a dream giving birth to a baby girl. I have birth at home in my bed it was so painless, my friend a nurse was around to help me cutting and tying the cod. I was so happy but couldnt believe it I didnt even realise I was pregnant in this dream. I was a but disappointed that it was only one not twins as I want twins. Afterwards I went to a party kind of where most of my in-laws where and I made an announcement that we had been blessed with a baby girl, I didnt have a name yet for the baby as my husband had not seen this baby yet.

Then the night before I had another dream my young brother had died and people were coming to my mum's house crying. In reality he is having a wedding in December this year and in the dream it seemed he died the day before the wedding. On the same night I dreamt of my dead brother in law he we met somewhere and he gave me a kiss on my lips - a bit strange isnt it and I had a dream about this bro in law a few weeks ago and he came to a family meeeting naked.

I wonder if anyone is able to interpret these for me. We have been trying to have a baby for a while now with some miscarriages I have had along the way. Also I have been looking for a job for a while and my business is as good as dead at the moment - but I am still believing God. You can also see my other posts about my dreams, am not sure if it links up.

Not much time before work, I may come back to this if someone else doesn't write what I am seeing here, otherwise...

1 thing to be cognizant of is there is the "unconscious", where we say things we are unconscious of the deeper meaning... often, with God, we may have Him speak or act through us unconsciously where we *think* we are saying one thing or doing one thing... and He actually has us saying or doing something else. We are often not apprised of this until after the fact. Sometimes years. Sometimes immediately. Usually, to get the "immediately", we have to be trained to be very keen observers of people's reactions and try and make sense out of everything.

Usually, we also have to know *their* context.

Because God always knows their context.

Often, there are double - and more - meanings. There is the physical reality, and there is the spiritual reality. The two often are overlapped on each other so deeply and so commonly, usually people are not cognizant of this.

Twins -> Duality. Double. Plus. Extra. Twin studies. Star Wars, "the twins". Two people alike each other, or our commonalities in other people.

    Some possible meanings there.

Childbirth without pain -> People expect "hardships". A Scripture verse speaks of birth suddenly, "in a day", "without pains" (until afterwards). Can be something "expected". God's plans in our lives. Can also be real children as well.

"Dead" Friends -> The concept of eternal life. Resurrection of the dead. Both after physical death, and waking up from the sleep of living death.

Waking up from the sleep of everyday worlds: what the world, which is evil - often and in deep ways - overlays on what is real and true in our own inner worlds.

Kiss on lips inappropriate -> Custom in some countries. Some body language is suppressed in some cultures, not in others. Other body language is unnatural, physically, but accepted by tradition and peers. To get to the "real" person, one often has to consider these types of factors.

But there is a lot more meaning there, because there are a number of holes in the above, which does not exactly make sense.

This verse seems to strike a chord with this dream:

Isa 66:7 "Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.
Isa 66:8 Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.

(I think that wanting twins is a personal projection into the dream and is not related to the message of the given dream.)

A baby can symbolise something that you have or will conceive & bring to fruition. It may be a new project, motivation or ministry, but it could also be literal. My gut feel is that it is more symbolic.

Whatever it refers to, the dream suggests it will be something that is personal for you - in your space (at home). It seems like there wil be an element of surprise in what God brings to birth in/through you (couldnt believe it I didnt even realise I was pregnant in this dream). The "baby" may involve some kind of a partnership (my friend a nurse was around to help me cutting and tying the cod.) or at least involvement from other(s) to bring it to fruition.

Sometimes we can have expectations about what the Lord will do & what the Lord does may not always neatly align with our expectations ( I was a but disappointed that it was only one not twins as I want twins). There may be an encouragement in this to be prepared to change your bearings or directions slightly as a result of this new thing the Lord will do, even though it may be different to what the Lord has said in the past.

Afterwards I went to a party kind of where most of my in-laws where and I made an announcement that we had been blessed with a baby girl, I didnt have a name yet for the baby as my husband had not seen this baby yet. To me this speaks of faith. It was something that only you knew, & there had been no name for the child. What the child will be is not fully revealed, but you have a sense that this baby is there. It is the substance of things hoped for (Heb 11:1) - faith. And you declared this - you confessed with your mouth what you believed in your heart.

Babies do need a lot of care & support in the early stages before they are self-sufficient. There's investment of time & emotional energy. Then when they are old enough, there is the challege of releasing them. :)

I see this baby dream as promise from God.

Then the night before I had another dream my young brother had died and people were coming to my mum's house crying. In reality he is having a wedding in December this year and in the dream it seemed he died the day before the wedding. This dream may be a reflection of your concerns about the up-coming marriage - do you have any? These may be real or misunderstandings on your part.

If the dream is not a reflection of your concerns, there are several points which suggest the timing and/or person may not be right in God for your brother-in-law's wedding:
    - a symbolic death before the marriage (A death is not always something negative in a dream)
    - grief in associated people
    - inappropriate intimacy
    - inappropriate exposure

I would not advocate taking serious action or making any accusations based on dreams. But I would suggest praying privately only between yourself & God that if the relationship is not of God, that He would prevent the marriage from going ahead. It is better to have some short-lived grief rather than the extended trauma and/or conflict of being yoked to a person who is not God's choice for a marriage partner and/or where the timing is not right. You could also pray that it would not happen close to the wedding day - i.e. that any break-up would be soon if it is not of God.

If the marriage does go ahead, this should allay any concerns you may have. And you can then trust that God is in it & He will work though any issues in the lives of the couple being married. You could pray into this.

Please test this interpretation with the Holy Spirit in you & if you feel it is not correct, please disregard it. But if it sits ok with the Holy Spirit in your spirit, I would suggest keeping it only between you & the Lord, unless you receive very clear confirmation to share it with someone who can be trusted to keep it confidential.

Sadly, many miscarriages are caused by sub-conscious :( fears, of one sort or another. One common fear is "I don't want to suffer - thru prenatal discomforts, or labor, or hard-labor, or any pains for that matter. If I get pregnant, & don't willfully abort, has God given me? any choice  for Birthing my babies in complete ease & comfort. - And many millions of women have birthed, & continue birthing in just this Loving & gentle & safe way, so obviously it's true. - Some of us teach girls & women this ancient way, how...

There, you see your own sub-conscious mind was & is re-assuring you, of the truths I just shared with you. Go ahead, & be excited! ;)

You want twins?? while right now even one child would be economically-difficult? - Maybe God is saying: "You know, let's see you Nourish, & Nurture & raise one of my children, unto ME (God) to live in PRAISE of God." Just imagine how HAPPY  this will make God!

    God Bless you! sister
