Those who support illegal and immoral activity by Israel do no one any favors, least of all God, and certainly not Israel and its citizens.

What illegal and immoral activity are you referring to?

It's called short sightedness, not seeing the long term effects of allowing Iran to progress in their nuclear endeavors
And those "long term effects" are...... Iran gets electricity for its people. Wow, what a terrible thing!

Not exactly the "Liberty in reverse". Shooting down the warplanes of a belligerent nation trying to start a dangerous war with Iran is not even close to the butchery and murder of Israel's monstrous deliberate assault on a noncombatant ship (which they tried to false flag to draw the US into war against Egypt).

Hey, on the bright side, if you pressure them enough, they will stop voting in moderate leaders like they did this time and you can start a war against them with good conscience.

After all, the best prophecies are the self-fullfilling ones.

I imagine that the job description for 'World policeman' contains some mention of preventative measures, as well as punitive measures.

The world has made good progress with Iran in recent years. That's not to pretend Iran have given up their nuclear ambitions - they will never do that - but they have agreed to things which will greatly delay their ability to build a viable nuclear warhead, which is as much as we could realistically ever hope for. Israel must not be allowed to destroy this progress.

Amongst the daily criticism of US foreign policy, preventing attacks like this is a welcome use of US power, and should not be the subject of the degree of criticism we see here.

If the President of the United States ever did such a thing, he would, in essence be declaring/have declared war on Israel. It would behoove the President to first officially declare Israel an "enemy" of the United States.

Thank you kindly.

Not necessarily true. To bomb Iran, the most likely scenario would have Israeli jets flying through Iraqi airspace. That requires permission from Iraq. Violating Iraq's air space would be Obama's excuse for shooting the planes down. Obama would claim Israel perpetrated the act of war

The question is, is Israel defending itself or seeking its security in any of this and/or is Israel at war with Iran (and/or has Iran in essence declared war with Israel?), and for good reason? And the next question is, if the President of the United States considers Israel an enemy, or an ally of the United States? Does the President of the United States consider/or is calling Israel terrorist?

The bottom line is, does Israel have the right to defend itself and strategize and take measures to do so?

Thank you kindly.

Who cares about Israel. What have they done for us lately? What have they ever done for us?

We need to cut off their funding.

I dunno, have they cut off any people's heads lately....?

but perhaps i missed something....

Thank you kindly.

Israel does have the right to defend itself, but does not have the right to violate the air space of another country. That is the ace that Obama holds
