Perhaps only a few topics could make a co-host of the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club" become "verklempt." But while Kristi Watts was overwhelmed by the inquiry concerning oral sex in the context of marriage, Pat Robertson took it in stride.

"The Bible doesn't make that sinful," Robertson said. "The question is: What's in your heart?"

Perhaps old Pat is funkier and more hip than we thought. First, thought ok to legalize pot. Next, oral sex ok within marriage (what about anal sex, Pat, at least in wedlock?)? Too bad he thought tornadoes occurred where people should have known better to have built (such as in mountains of Kentucky, where until a few years ago tornadoes were almost unknown).

I was VERY glad to hear Pat say this. For far too long, most Christians have been extremely narrow-minded whenever it comes to marital love-making. It is a pleasure to watch the gradual shift within the collective Body of Messiah over these past several decades, as increasing numbers become progressively open-minded about various beautiful aspects and methods of marital sexual relations.

Even though some have opened up (in some measure) to the no-longer "taboo" practice of oral sex, a larger number unfortunately continue to traditionally frown upon and resist the amazing wonders of marital anal sex between husband and wife.

In the Old Testament, "sodomy" refers to men lying with men. The English word means “Unnatural sexual intercourse, especially of one man with another or of a human being with an animal.” Unfortunately, some (not all) Christian teachers have erroneously equated sodomy with anal and also oral sex. In the Bible Scriptures, sodomites specifically refer ONLY to male homosexuals or temple prostitutes (both male and female).

In contemporary usage, the term sodomy is sometimes used to describe anal intercourse between a man and woman. This is NOT the true contextual meaning of the biblical word at all. This misinterpretation has led to sexual frustration and lack of fulfillment within MANY marriages, which increases the percentage of marital failure and adultery. It should not be so,...when we already have EVERYTHING we need sexually to become satisfied and fulfilled with our soul-mate and Covenant-partner/spouse.

The "Song of songs" book by Solomon is VERY open and descriptive of two-way oral love-making, etc., and is extremely beautiful in it's poetic language about intimacy. This is one of my favorite books, which is filled with holy and hot, passionate romance.

Same as with performing oral intimacy (act of cunnalingus or felicio),...anal love-making is also righteous and extremely pleasurable between a married husband and wife. There are MANY Christians who do this on a regular basis during times of intimacy. As long as healthy hygiene is maintained, and everything is mutually done in a loving, safe, and non-painful manner which benefits both spouses, the marriage bed remains undefiled and holy. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit from our heavenly Father (who IS love), and should be explored and utilized to the fullest of it's design and potential, as intended by our Creator. HalleluYAH!!!

Ya, I'm glad Pat spoke up rather than giving the self-righteous answers most leaders give. Would that he had not said some of those things about nature being a judgement. Ya, the Bible does talk about nature being a judgement, but Jesus also indicates when he talks about natural disasters that those effected weren't any more evil than anyone else.

As a Christian I have absolutely zero interest in what Pat Robertson thinks.
