I believe you will find the giants after the flood such as Goliath are much smaller than before the flood. On could just say the were very tall men. Goliath being probably around 10 feet tall but before the flood we get the picture of giants being much taller. i don't know if the reports are true of find men who are 30 feet tall but this is certainly the picture i get before the flood.

You will not find that those who believed God and were deemed righteous in the OT were called "sons of God", but you will find that term used for angels both in Genesis and Job. "The angels which kept not their first estate" (mentioned in 2 Peter and Jude) and are now chained in Tartarus (translated "hell" in the KJV) were the same angels who corrupted mankind and had intercourse with human women. Thus we have the giants or the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6.

You understanding of Hebrew is wrong I posted a link on Here to a Jewish page which explains the names of God it is Herbrews 4 christians. The name translated literally means sons of God. There is nothing magical about it, they are not angels such as seraphim. Elohim is one of the names of God. Ben is son.

The catastrophe to the world with the global flood was necessarily with terrible things that were going on in the world, there was great wickedness coming from humanity, with apostasy of any who had been godly, save Noah. Genetic mutation came from corrupting processes over more than a thousand years among the gene pool of humanity, giantism would be something that certainly can result from it. The godly people were not necessarily solely descendants of Seth, and the text about this in scriptures does not clearly say that giants resulted directly from sons of God taking daughters of man, which are any women, for themselves.

It might be considered that judgment was coming on humanity, with the world that was providing for humanity perishing too. Angelic beings were not going to perish from this, with them being the ones who should be under judgment with their responsibility, if they were committing the evil being there taking human women for themselves, and somehow, with explanation of it wanting, having viable offspring with them.

God limit the years by 120 right about the time of the flood from there one you see the years of man getting shorter until it is brought to 120 years. It did not happen in one day but took time to bring down the years, why God did it this way I suspect because He was repopulating the earth. That is the answer for me any way.

Yahweh God said that only 120 years would remain for man, at the time before God told Noah to build the ark, with giving the detailed instruction for it. In view of the information that there were many yet living their lifespans far beyond 120 years, still for many many centuries after, regardless of not walking with God, and the lifespans did not just decrease until they reached a span of 120 years and stop there, understanding is logical of the 120 years still left to man as that time for that great ark to be built and the time left for any to possibly repent, with the testimony they had, and join Noah, or perish. As brutal as judgment was going to be for them, it isn't like God to not give plenty of time to turn from sin that will have them under judgment, with this occasion.

This is also showing your own interpretation. I know some claim finds of giant skeletons of such superhuman size, but this is not confirmed with recognition from secular media or news sources. If the Nephilim were so much larger than the range for humans, you then do need an explanation from what would be supernatural for that. But such a different size is not stated from the Bible. There were such people of giant size long after the global flood too, you can be aware of, and the only size stated ever for giants is still in the range of humanity, though certainly with there being genetic alteration as an explanation.

Truth is you have no proof they were not 30 feet tall either that is your interpretation.

God said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh, yet his days shall still be 120 years". It was before the ark was ready, it was before the ark was started, it was also before Yahweh God spoke to Noah. It would still happen after this was said, and Noah was addressed for this, that the ark would have to be built, from all the materials collected, not with trucks either, and fully completed, the animals would all have to come, there would have to be testimony to humanity for any to repent and join with Noah, as his family did, and there would be more than a year of involving the catastrophe to the world with the flood, and still Noah and his sons lived far longer than any not even close to such a 120 year limit, hundreds of years passed before the time of Jacob Israel, who lived 147 years, and Joseph his son lived 110 years, the first one mentioned that didn't live a natural lifespan over 120 years, afterward people still lived shorter amounts of years, 120 years was skipped right over, and nothing special appears about 120 years relative to human lifespans. Yet 120 years was such an exact number said for humanity, before the flood and the ark built for those going on it, hundreds of years before, giving time for it to be built, collecting everything for it, and the testimony to be effectively and meaningfully given.

That is just making my point, there is nothing possible but interpretation for it, except we are told how tall Goliath and other giants that were named were, and there aren't two kinds of giants very different in size that were said to be, just you wanting to see it that way. And that's alright. It's nothing so consequential to argue over.

Those who grow to be giant humans can be and are born to natural sized human couples, and this has always been happening. They can grow to be around as much as ten feet tall, maybe some amount more, this is all that has ever been said to happen, from any sources that we have which are believable. There are mutations that have such happen. Any beings that would reach 30 feet, or more, are not human beings, born to human couples. They could only be of a humanlike shape, and then they would be aliens, not from humanity as us, but maybe from another world.
