The cosmic evolution model of the universe consists of seven progressive steps, from the Big Bang to today.

Here is Harvard's interpretation of the seven progressive steps:
  1. Particulate
  2. Galactic
  3. Stellar
  4. Planetary
  5. Chemical
  6. Biological
  7. Cultural
Put each act of creation in Genesis 1, from the earth on the first day to Eve on the sixth day, into their corresponding progressive steps.

Why? Why should we attempt to fit modern science into a bronze-age creation story?

The creation at it happened was just as true during the bronze age as it is now.

Indeed, the creation story has as much credibility and evidence to support it now as it had during Bronze Age.
Then answer the challenge from a reading comprehension perspective.

Take Genesis 1 and fit the individual acts of creation into the Harvard model of cosmic evolution.

Truth doesn't change. Science apparently does. They change it all the time.

I always thought that term was funny.

The Bible never mentions bronze, yet others consider It a bronze age writing.

Because you like really hard challenges?
Maybe we could fit Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in, too.

  1. Particulate = Dopey
  2. Galactic = Sleepy
  3. Stellar = Happy
  4. Planetary = Grumpy
  5. Chemical = Bashful
  6. Biological = Sneezy
  7. Cultural = Doc

the Bible mentions bronze a number of times. For instance, Tubal Cain and Hiram of Tyre were bronze smiths and David wore a bronze helmet given him by Saul.
But mostly it's called a bronze age writing because most of the OT was written during the bronze age.

What was written back then is that God created the Heavens and the Earth. Today, God still created the Heavens and the Earth. A thousand years from now, God will still have created the Heavens and the Earth.

Genesis 4:22 Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron.

Convenient to leave that part out.

Many things today are made out of those metals too, although things from China would put us in the Plastic age.

I remember a discovery just this month of some sort of tool made out of aluminum carbon-dated at over 200,000 years. Pretty sophisticated stuff for knuckle draggers and cave dwellers.

It's about as challenging as fitting Hansel and Gretel into a chemistry textbook.
I like using Humpty Dumpty as an example.

Where did Humpty Dumpty sit? on a wall or on a chair?

You see ... you don't have to believe Humpty Dumpty was real.

It's call "reading comprehension" for a reason.

Why? There was quite a bit of overlap in the use of those metals, and the age was named for the period during which bronze was the primary, but not necessarily the only engineering material. but I suppose the answer you want is that I left out the iron as part of a godless plot to deny the Bible.

Can you fit the different stages of computer manufacturing into the seven books in the Harry Potter series?

Now do you see what these challenges look like to others?

But if you don't believe Humpty Dumpty was real, you'd be an idiot for trying to explain him using reality.
