It's a real shame when atheists think hatred is cleverly disguised in sarcasm.
You addressing someone in particular or just posting pre-emptively?

It's disingenuous to claim that she was jailed because of her Christian beliefs. She is only in jail because she deliberately violated a court order.

Kentucky law was overruled. Sorry Huckabee.
But saying that she is being jailed for her Christian beliefs is much better at getting the troops rallying behind you than saying she is being jailed for contempt of court.

I'm confused: does the OP agree with or disagree with Gov. Huckabee? I have the feeling they agree but the article posted sure doesn't. :sorry:

Maybe Huckabee thinks you can pick the one you like best?
For some reason, one doesn't hear Huckabee and his ilk talk about "judicial tyranny", "unelected lawmakers" and "activist judges" as much when it comes to Bush vs. Gore.

It is really true on both sides. The like the rulings that match their ideology and whine judicial activism when they don't.

But saying that she is being jailed for her Christian beliefs is much better at getting the troops rallying behind you than saying she is being jailed for contempt of court.
Omitting one because the other is true serves to rally other troops.
The fact is she was jailed because she was in contempt, because she refused to surrender her commitment to her Christian beliefs.
Just because 5 SCOTUS judges make their decision, four descent. And they don't rewrite God's word.

However, Christians should be aware that the Chief Justice of SCOTUS said in this ruling in June that it may be difficult to get our religious rights defended when it comes to this ruling being applied in secular society. Even though the Constitution is silent on marriage and that makes it a matter to be left to the states. (per the audio by ACLJ below)
They're giving one class the right to oppress another? We'll have to see.
ACLJ broadcast on the day June 26th

Probably because it's no longer relevant and hasn't been for years.
