Yesterday I spoke with the rector of the seminary I attended before I entered the Salesian pre-novitiate, and he is also concerned I could not have a priesthood vocation. He does see a clear vocation in working with marginalized children, though.

I am still not ready to leave the pre-novitate, but the good news is that now I am very calm whatever the result is. :)

My prayers are with you dear friend. :crossrc:

If this helps at all, let me say that working with children (marginalized or not) is a vocation in itself. And an extremely rewarding one at that ;)
I understood quite early in life that my "vocation" would be to become a teacher. Been teaching almost ten years now, and I love every minute :)
