Looking for a Job

We live in a bad neighborhood and not living well on disability. I'm trying everything to get out of this situation. I applied to two jobs that seem good for their own reasons and wanted to know which one to really go for.

Job 1 Location: a few hundred miles away but provides housing
Job 2: 45 minute drive from where I live now(in the county above mine), no housing

Job 1 and 2 pay and work environment : Only pays during the warmer months, pay about same amount, similar jobs

Job 1 my experience: I meet the minimum requirements
Job 2: Overqualified, sounds like they're looking for a student when I'm already graduated and have past jobs in similar places

Job 1 healthcare and benefits: does not provide benefits, but low enough pay should be able to keep state Medicaid
Job 2: no benefits, would have to try to transfer Medicaid to a different state, also driver's license and all that jazz.

Job 1 doctors: My husband would have to change all his doctors, which would be difficult because he just had eye surgery and he's suppose to see the specialist he went to for it.
Job 2: That job is actually closer to the eye specialist than where we live and also closer to two other doctors, but he would have to change the local doctors.ough

Need thoughts

With Healthcare and Benefits I accidentally switched around the two jobs... but well...

Job 1 duration: I think it is permanent
Job 2: only 3 months

My husband does not think the short job is worth it even though it is much closer

I just emailed Job 1 if they would consider husband and wife living in the free housing. If not, it is out of consideration.

Rom 8:6-14 KJV
(6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
(8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
(9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

don't be led by what your 5 senses tell you; let the Spirit of God inside you guide your decision through peace

Col 3:12-17 KJV
(12) Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
(13) Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
(14) And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

(15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
(16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
(17) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed, clear your mind as much as you can, begin to meditate on your desire to be a witness of the gospel and resister of the devil, and let the peace of God rule about which job to take - what looks like the best job to your intellect may not be, as we tend to walk by sight; let the Spirit of God lead you, as He can see the end from the beginning, and isn't limited to what the 5 senses can perceive
