Hmmm.... I'm not sure what I think of the word "achieved" there. That seems a bit presumptuous. I would say "have".This idea that "we can't hurt anyone's feelings because they haven't achieved the same things we have" still seems backwards to me. You're punishing people for hard work and success at that point.
Again, advertising is based on making people feel bad and I think there more than a few people who view most marketting strategies as beneficial to companies but not beneficial to individuals.
