[John 11:40]; Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

There must be an experience of glory that follows the faith of a man. Because you believe, there must be something that you ought to see. It must matter and make a difference that you believed.
Faith has never been designed to be in vain. It remains; it abides.

Paul speaks of light afflictions that are but for a moment but are not to be compared to the glory that must follow because you believed. That means that even in the context of Lazarus' story, death was a light affliction that was to have a glorious ending. It was light and for a moment in the sense that Christ redefines its finality and reversibility.

If to our Lord, the death of a dear one is a light affliction and is only for a moment, then that disease, that funny boss, that marital problem is so much less of an issue. Death, by the mind of the world carries a finality to it. It doesn't matter how far science will ever advance. It will never access the spirit enough to give life to a man who has lost it in his physical body. The mandate to give life is only for they with the quickening spirit.

The message here is that there is no situation that cannot be changed. Nothing is final until God pronounces it as final. You will see glory, child of God. Believe for that turn around, it will come. Believe for that transformation in your marriage, it will come. The good news is that when it comes, it will carry the testimony of the manifestation of the work of God. That is glory.
