No -- I don't agree that the KJV translators were wrong. You mean you agree that the KJV translators were wrong to use the words unicorn and satyr?
No -- I don't agree that the KJV translators were wrong.
They weren't like today's scientists -- calling something a planet before all the facts are in, then having to retract later.
They called a spade a 'spade' -- and got it right the first time.
The KJV never has to say, 'oops'; or retract anything.
Anything else you want me to answer?Of course they don't, given that all the translators of the KJV are now dead. The KJV has got plenty of blunders to answer for, this is just one of thousands.
Turkey here! No, I'm done here. Time for me to stuff a chicken.
Unicorns get off the Ark, gallop (or fly) to the southern regions of Pangaea, get pregnant, have tree sloths; gallop or fly to another part, get pregnant, have aardvarks.
Later, God breaks off a chunk of Pangaea, moves it to the eastern hemisphere, along with these tree sloths, and voila -- tree sloths in South America.
Ditto for the aardvark.
Easy as delivering the newspaper.
It isn't -- but without an explanation such as that, how do you account for swift speciation of the earth after the Flood?(old thread warning)
Where is that described in the Holy Bible?
I can't recall reading such scripture.
Actually the KJV is one of the best if not the best translation. For the most part I go by Strongs. I look to see how a the word is used in other places in the Bible. Context has a lot to do with translation. The KJV is, in my opinion, one of the most unreliable translations there is.
Nope -- I'll go with the evolution-pwning cryptids that the KJV speaks of.Aliens?
Whoa, hang on a minute there buddy, how do you account for a flood? First things first, and not before. It isn't -- but without an explanation such as that, how do you account for swift speciation of the earth after the Flood?
You don't mind if I address the crux of the question, do you?(old thread warning)

Be my guest. You don't mind if I address the crux of the question, do you?
I sometimes think that AV is just messing with us to be funny....but then I remember he's serious.
En una especie de forma negativa, ¿verdad?Just remember that serious or not, he's useful.
