I didn't notice it until the 2nd time I watched it and still wonder if a purse can actually cause an airbag to deploy like that....my wife cracks up everytime she sees it

That woman is probably a "Bible-thumping" Christian who carries her huge family Bible with her at all times complete with a leather carrying case, pad of paper, pens and markers. That alone would do it.

She is probably like the women displayed in the Old Testament: showing no fear, quick thinking, and trusting in the Lord's strength rather than her own.

Could be that he did? However, at the end of the video, did you notice that the driver opens his door? I wonder he does next?

Incidentally, how much does it cost to reset the airbags after they have discharged? I mean a driver cannot just fix it himself, can he? Isn't there a shop fee?

If this were staged, then that punch with her purse could lead to a costly repair job.
