What does it mean when the Bible says Jesus is the "first-born?"
Romans 8:29- firstborn among many brethren
Colossians 1:15- firstborn of all creation
Hebrews 1:6- God brings the firstborn into the world
I understand when Jesus is called the firstborn from the dead it means that he is the first one resurrected. (Col. 1:18 & Rev. 1:5) But what does it mean for him to be the "firstborn" in these other contexts?
