And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for an heritage: I am the Lord

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"I will give you salvation,liberation,
redemption,adoption,revelation,direction,and provision."

................................

In Exodus 6:6-8, we see seven "I wills,"
Seven statements of promise made by God.
The one thing we don't see is a single, "If you..
"because such is the nature of the gospel.
The gospel is an expression of Gods fervent love toward us.
It's all about what He has done and nothing about what we must do

........................................

The gospel is nothing short of the best news the world has ever heard:
Our sin is forgiven. The price is paid. The work is done

......................

Although he is about to be beheaded,
when Paul wrote his protege Timothy,
he didn't say,"Be strong in righteousness,"or
"Be strong in your understanding of theology."No,
as good as those things may be,
Paul's final word to Timothy was,"Be strong in grace"
(see 2 Timothy 2:1}

...........................

So too,the degree to which we understand that grace is not the beginning point,
but the only point.
As grace does it's work in our hearts day by day,
we will want to study, we desire to pray,
and we will be eager to worship.

2 Timothy 2:8
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David
was raised from the dead according to my gospel.

“Be strong in grace, Timothy,” exhorts Paul.
“Be like a soldier, an athlete, a farmer.
Meditate, slow down, and above all, remember Jesus Christ.”

Paul’s is a powerful and important exhortation:
Don’t become so enamored with ministry
and so caught up in theology that you forget that Jesus is risen.

How do we remember Jesus?
“Do this in remembrance of Me,” Jesus said as He served His disciples Communion (Luke 22:19).
Come to the Table,
and remember both the work Jesus did for you on the Cross
and that He is risen and lives in you right now.
