Hi there,
So there is a real conundrum right, Evolution is basically the minimum you need to believe, to exist in the world. It's a stopgap that takes a fundamental aspect of Creation - the humility of God - and turns it into a treadmill that the Devil can walk all over. You say you believe Evolution, precisely because it absolves you of responsibility to anything other than your next move. In other words, it is basically a determination that the sinner should be absolved of their responsibility to their conscience and to God, on the basis that a greater level of abstraction beyond total subduction to the concept of Evolution is untenable and therefore unreasonable, even perhaps unethical.
But there is something wrong with this, social order is clearly a more adaptive evolutionary construct than chaos, so how could something that welcomes chaos and social disharmony be considered a positive stress regardless? The mismatch points to a hypocrisy that is rooted in a selfish protection of instinct that leads to gratuitous pleasure. People know that Evolution destroys the flesh that God created to worship Him, that's why they believe it, because to destroy the flesh in this way, to the Devil, is to destroy God. There is one small oversight, belief in Evolution as a philosophy, by which one might say "you see, it makes me a man" hinges on it fetching a price, which is fitting for the nature of that which is able to be created.
But what would that price be? Something preposterous? It ceases to be a serious question right? There is no price you can ask! You might as well be the richest man on the planet, without a desire to invest a cent! How honestly can you say to someone "well, there is this thing and it changes into another thing and then another thing on and on infinitely, so give me all you have and you can try to control it". I mean there will be suckers, but anyone with a brain is going to say "pass". This essentially then, is what it means to honour your word, even not to phrase something the credibility for which doesn't function meaningfully in relation to things that you actually value - like money, and the good that it does those you use it to empower.
Technically, there are many sane concepts you could introduce to manage your outlook on generations and what you pass on to them. Knowing that you employ them correctly may be difficult, if you believe every one of them has to justify an evolved sanity of course - but the point is that at a base level there is something there that can be worked with, within reason. Baselines make all the difference in the world to someone who hasn't got enough gravity to make sense on their own. I just wonder if Evolutionists will ever see their madness clear enough to make a rational choice in favour of at least one morally motivated concept that engenders sanity...
Thoughts?
