nah, he's just an ol' fashioned heretic is all, no biggie, dime a dozen they are.

Catholics would probably defend that statement by saying; "by Church, He means Christ, who is the head of the Church". Classic case of how ambiguous statements rarely do a person any favor. If he means anything other than Christ by "Church", then he is way out in left field. As though any of the Apostles by the authority vested in them, mystically transferred faith or grace to anyone. Meh, that was fun, next...

Nope. They would say he literally meant "the Church". It is the only way to receive the Roman Catholic sacraments. He contradicts himself all the time though because for some reason Atheists can STILL get to heaven without the "Church". By what he says, I have a better chance of getting to heaven as an atheist than as a Protestant. :doh: Although, he leans toward Universalism if you ask me. And ya know, he's got the keys. So were all good.
