Indentifying the Beast
There has been some contention on here as to who the beast of revelation 13 is. I will show that by just one of the attributes of this beast, that we can know who or what it is. God would not leave His people ignorant on this important point
Rev 13:1,5,6
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Now that we know that the beast power speaks blasphemies, we need to identify what the bible says that blasphemy is...
John 10:33
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Mark 2:7
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
This clearly shows that claiming to be God and to forgive sins is considered blasphemy now we need to look and see what world wide power has enshrined these traits into their structure.
