Of course we are at liberty to pick and choose in fact that is exactly what we do . However there should be meaningful decision making in our choosing. When God says something is unholy once surely it remains unholy (and for good reason)IF "the mark" is a tattoo you mean. Plenty of theories about it.... All I want to know and it is a fair question, perhaps its been answered alreadu and if so please direct me to the post number, but again all I want to know from those using one single verse in Leviticus to support this idea of no tattooes is why don't you keep every other law and ordinance found in Leviticus? Where is the Bible verse that says thou shalt only have to obey one ordinace found in Leviticus the rest you can discard as old law? I think thats in Proverbs chapter 32... Oh wait Proverbs only goes to 31 :-/
Where does it stop? I mean what you are in essence doing is giving the okay for people to pick and choose which parts of scripture they will obey or disobey. Where else in all of the Bible do we make and sustain doctrine off of one solitary verse? Groups do it all the time I know, but we call the cults....
