One is a God given knowledge of right and wrong
Well this is the hangup (and where the argument turns to useless). How do you know this knowledge is "God given", and not just biological programming? Why can't innate knowledge simply be innate?
I think independently and that is why I bucked the trend in the family of friends I had and chose Christ. I also study thoroughly and intently and that is why I can say that what God has done and does is justified.
Your justification seems to be that violence by God is okay if God says it is ok. This is not independent, you are relying on someone's judgement other than your own.
If you started a business and asked your children to help you start the business, and your children reject you because they don't like your business plan, would you punish them with violence?
One person may consider an act immoral while another person does not and vice versa. So, whose morality is the true sense?
Morality is absolute. We all know (barring people with mental illness) what human goodness is, and what human suffering is. Something immoral is something that works contrary to human goodness.
We all have the true sense of morality, it's the environment that makes us act otherwise.
