Humoring stereotypes

The opposite of the Defying Stereotypes thread. State stereotypes that you actually fit.

Mine:
- I'm of (mostly) Scottish descent. I like wearing a kilt, and much of the music I enjoy contains bagpipes.
- I also have some German lineage. I like beer and saurbraten a lot.
- I'm a man. ...I like beer and saurbraten a lot. And I like explosions.
- I'm white. Can't jump. Can't dance. And I'm not too good at playing the blues, either.

I'm Appalachian, I enjoy bluegrass, I drink moonshine, I think snake-handlers are legit, are have gone hunting/fishing/noodling, I use Southern slang, I am mistrustful of Northerners

As an Alaskan:
- I'm a single man.
- I have a full beard.
- I carry a gun.
- I love to fish.

- I'm really girly/feminine- i like wearing dresses/skirts and twirling.
- I hate bugs in the house.

As a blonde (though it's now light brown): ~ I can be dumb and ditzy.

I'm from the North:
-I do face palm at most Southern traditions and terms
-I do drive faster than the posted speed limit and just a bit recklessly
-I hate talking to people in the Wal-mart check out lane
-I am rude sometimes just because I really don't care to be hugged by perfect strangers or gossip about people I don't know

I'm female:
-I like chick flick movies and romantic comedies
-I love chocolate and flowers
-I get "clucky" (to borrow Xavia's term) around babies
-I find sports/hunting/politics incredibly boring

Beer drinking, womanizing in the most good way, fully bearded man who thinks getting trimmed up means trimming down his neck hair to a 5 o'clock shadow on his neck, rock and rolling and banging his head to heavy metal at any time he can, thinks about sex too much and has since he was a teenager, cusses way too much, likes action films, love James Bond and all the women that come and go with that movie series.

I'm Canadian
I love maple syrup and poutine, I sit on a chesterfield, moose hang out in my backyard and I live near a family of beavers, I'm very polite, I absolutely love curling, I chop firewood, I spell colour with a "u", I skidoo to the cabin with my friends and drink CANADIAN beer.

I didn't grow up from the ghetto or inner city so I don't care if I find many aspects of the inner city life to be stupid, irrational and I don't care if I feel nervous when you go through the bad end of the city where people live like idiots with drugs and thug life.
People that want to replicate a life that can take away innocent life do not deserve respect or dignity.

As a Russian:
-I like vodka..almost solely in fact, as far as alcohol is concerned
- I really do own an AK-47
- The Russian flag is prominently displayed in my home
- I often talk for some time at the door while in the process of 'leaving'
As a non-Southerner in the American south
-I can't say Y'all
-I refuse to say 'howdy'
-I say 'pop' when referring to coke, pepsi, etc
- I actually do say skel, skivies, you'se and whatsamaterferu in real conversations
As a male:
- I love guns
- I love sports
I could go into immigrant family stereotypes also.. but eh

I'm of Irish and Scottish (with others) descent.
*I do have red hair, and green (close enough) eyes.
*I can get sunburned in less than 15 minutes during the summer, and do not tan.
*While I don't really have a quick temper, if I do get riled then the phrase 'blind rage' applies. There have been several distant instances where I got so angry I couldn't feel any pain.

I'm from Florida.
*I had a bit of a culture shock the first time I heard someone in real life that actually had a thick Southern accent. It happened at a Crackerbarrel we stopped at for dinner in Georgia.
*Seeing brown sand at Daytona Beach had a similar reaction, but I was expecting that beforehand.
*If you think the stereotypical tourist traps are meant to attract out-of-state visitors, think again. Locals are inundated with the stuff just as much as anyone else. They're also nearly as likely to buy them, too.

I could be roughly classified as a goth.
*I do actually like absinthe.
*I openly admit a fondness for ABBA.
*I have a deep appreciation for dark humor - self-deprecating, gallows, or otherwise.
*I possess a hearty disdain for mallgoths.
*I did, on several occasions in high school, dye my hair black.
*I got pretty much all of the references in ThouShaltNot's "If I Only Were A Goth".
*I did have my brooding period in high school. Now it's pretty much Perky Goth.

-I enjoy saying Eh (when I can remember to slip it into conversation)
-I am pretty polite
-I only consider winter to have started once it hits -40
-I love maple syrup and back bacon on almost anything
....whatelse....I know Im forgetting something....
Oh right
-Snowball, is my pet polar bear who I use for all transportation!

-I have a fifth grade education
-No teeth
-My IQ is 68
-I have a whiskey still in my backyard
-Four wheelers are my preferred method of transportation
-I fish and kill animals as often as I can
-Overalls are my daily uniform
-Houses are for people who think they're better than everyone else (trailers are better)
