But the judge did not send Lafave to jail, saying the violation was "not willful and substantial."

She did break probation, but was not seeking out the
17 yr old. She was just interacting with co-workers.

I think any further occurances should be punished, but this was just poor judgement, and pedophiles tend to
be of a mental age less then their actual age. Meaning they think like teen agers or less.
