Hi

I think it'd be rather difficult to find a NON-DENOMINATIONAL church if you move to another area.

Let's asume I'd move to penn yan, ny.
If I'd like to find an episcopal church, I'd simply need to visit tec's homepage and enter my postal code.

But how would i find a non-denominational church?

And they also call themselves non-denominational in their name?
When YP asks them what categories the want to be listed under first it will be 'churches' and the sub-category will be 'non-denom'.

Hi Esdra,

I think you'll have no problem finding a non-denominational church. What you will struggle to find, however, is a church which actually follows the teachings of Jesus, as outlined in the Bible.

The reality is that today's church world is mired by greed and hypocrisy - two vices Jesus condemned most strongly! It takes a truly sincere heart to be able to separate those vices from your average church in order to find the true gospel of Christ. Good luck!

Do a regular web search.
Or use a database like this:

Non-Denominational Penn Yan New York

(It lists a Calvary Chapel as non-denom there, which is a bit of a stretch)

Also Mapquest will give you churches by location, which is nice.

BTW I've been to Penn Yan, and it's small enough that you could drive up and down the streets until you find one.

parsley is correct about Penn Yan being small. I lived in Bath and Cameron, NY. So, making a trip around Keuka Lake was common for us.

Revivals happen independent of a church denomination. A good evangelist speaks to the multitude and is not a parrot, parroting the doctrines of man.

I have trouble located good evangelists and good revivals these days...
