I am the mother of two sons, (16 and 18), the eldest is my stepson, and since I didn't raise him (I have only been in his life for 5 years), he isn't as well turned out as my biological son. He is totally unmotivated to do anything, does drugs, and totally lacks ambition. He has dropped out of school, and isn't doing anything. My husband and I are at our wits end. All he wants to do is get high.
How do I motivate him to get more interested in life?
