It's easy to feel overwhelmed in the beginning, isn't it? Everybody says, I'm sure, that there are answers in the FAQ. But if it seems they're speaking in a foreign language, ask a moderator -- or hang out in the coffee room until you don't feel "foreign". I enjoyed the Recreation stuff -- little quizzes, games, funny posts; you'll get to see the same names pretty regularly.
