Help swearing help

Hi Yo'll,
I'm struggling with swearing . I got to the point were i'm not swearing as much as i use to. But i am swearing here & there . Basically its when the pop-up ads on the internet keep popping up & the whole thing freezes up on me & then & have to get off the internet then back on. its like i'm drinking or something like i can't stop. But i got it down a little bit. & its when i can't take something to a point where i swear. But other than that i'm fine. so can someone help me with this? Anyone have advice?

we had this guy at our home group say that he also had this problem. He was a guard at a jail and everytime someone ticked him off,he'd swear. Being a Christian,he wanted to be a an example. He put a rubberband on his wrist,every time he swore,he'd snap that baby. Within days he saw results.
What would it hurt to try it?

I would go with the reward and punishment method.....say, if you go a whole day without swearing, give yourself a point....and then, after you get 10 days or something, give yourself something......BUT, if you swear, then you take a day away.....That's just an example....I suggest making it easier or harder depending on how good you do.....

I have the problem too......I just don't swear in front of people very often.
