I started my career volunteering for the local fire department... Decided to become a paramedic and really fell in love with medicine, so I hung up the bunker coat and steped onto the ambulance. Been doing it ever since.

God bless you for the work that you do in the community... Stop by the "Emergency Services" forum from time to time. It's a fairly new subforum that is specifically for EMS, Fire, Police, 911, etc to communicate.

Got called out for a fire last night about half an hour from town. The land owner and a couple of neighbors had it out before we got there. Many of the fires in Montana blew out of their containment lines yesterday because of strong winds. The winds were blowing about 50 mph last night when our fire got called in.

I checked out the Emergency Services forum. Looks like it is still trying to really get going
