I thought I would introduce myself here since I am new.. My name is Michael and I am 31 years of age. I live on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore with my wife and 6 year old daughter.

So let see.. I am a Reformed Christian who holds to Torah Observance and Civil Theonomy. So I guess that makes me a Reformed Messianic.. We have no local fellowship nor local congregation and travel an hour and thirty-five minutes to church. We have been doing this for over 7 years. Wishing we had local fellowship...

My journey into Torah Observance begun when I became Reformed when I was 17 years of age. Within a few short years I started learning about Civil Theonomy. About 3 or so years ago I started learning more about Law and Gospel and what did Christ mean in Matthew 5 regarding the law. It was of course a nature outflowing from Civil Theonomy, just one step further. I also started to question the common understanding of what is ceremonial law and what is moral law. Much of what is defined today as ceremonial law is not ceremonial law at all and neither falls under civil or moral-self. So I started to reevaluate everything I had been taught about ceremonial law and what law fits into what category which lead me into Torah Observance.. I am still growing and learning in my understanding of the Torah and what is expected of me by our Lord.

Anyway, thats my story... I am glad to be here..

Welcome to CF. I would be interested in hearing more about what you think is ceremonial law.

hello i am a christian unitarian, which means that i uphold the BIBLE as being THE BOOK for all things related to faith in MESSIAH JESUS. i was converted at the age of 18 at a youth for christ rally in my local hometown but i was raised roman catholic and became an agnostic/skeptic when i turned 15 so i studied all the religions and was convinced in the truth of the gospel when i went to the youth for christ rally as mentioned before. then someone gave me a book "the trinity christianitys self inflicted wound" and that was enough to make me want to disprove the book and defend the trinitarian faith, but alas i couldnt find any support so then i made my decision to follow GOD and live out the rest of my days as a christian unitarian.

    Hi Mikhael. Welcome to CF.

Wow, I didn't know there was such a thing as Torah Observant Messianic Reformed Christian.... so wow and kudos to you.

I am just a Christian who loves to read the Torah (the version I have). I love to know the original meaning of the Hebrew texts, and I believe that the translators of a Torah into English are my best bet to get the correct translations of the first 6 Books.

I also am a Reformed Christian in the sense that I was raised all my life in a denomination that strictly taught salvation is lost every time a Christian sins and until he repents again, he is doomed for Hell. 22 years ago, I walked into a non-denominational Church and heard God's Word explained through love, mercy, and forgiveness - not hate. That's when the light came on for me, and I knew I had finally found the truth.

Anyway, great to meet you. I know you will make friends here and be blessed. Lots of lively discussions going on most all the time.
