I think its great that some of you are making efforts to reduce or quit Coffee intake,I sure am grateful its not stated as a direct sin. I have seen studies as studies go for both sides of coffee in moderation. However I have seen similar studies on certain wines. I love my morning cups, and so far in life I have not had a doctor negative me on it.

Welcome to this thread, Peter. I love to have coffee in the morning, and I enjoy to sip it in nice and quiet. The taste and smell of coffee helps waking me up, I think. Normally I have a moderate coffee intake, but it happens once in a while that I enjoy a cup with a piece of cake or icecream. I drink a cup or of coffee at work as well.
