Yes, a saint can be a martyr,miracle-worker, achieved theosis, etc.

Wes is talking about the Buddha, who lived far earlier than the Apostles. that story you posted is Christian and was LIKE the Buddha's experiences, but it is not him.

So... seems like the Orthodox of the past didn't mind Christianizing his legend.

come on, the idea that we canonized Buddha-inspired legends is so absurd. the Church is not re-tarded. we pray to Sts. Barlaam and Josaphat - you can't pray to a legend.
