But what were the Pharisee and Sadducees and even the high priest thinking that this man should be put to death by the law... Did the law condemn him falsely?

I think it would be hard to go into their minds to know what they had been really thinking.

The gospels give some idea of what was going on that cause him to be crucified... Unbelief is one key

Jesus was seen a son of David ... So no doubt people saw him as the promised messiah

What happened from there ?... Basically the leaders found fault with him according to the law .. The law condemn him..

That's what I believe anyway
