They appear to be parto of the Prophetic/apostolic/deliverance group.

I would be very careful with any group that over emphasises the role of an apostle and as for one of the key individuals claiming to be an apostle-prophet this tends to certainly raise a few red flags.

As for the church itself, I was more than surprised to see on Google Earth that they weren't all that far from me so tomorrow morning I will try and drive down and have a look at their premises. Up until now I have never heard of this group so I will be interested with what I find out.

The thing that gets me, is that the building has been there a number of years going by the date of the Google Earth picture and I have never heard a thing about them - if things look interesting tomorrow (well, its getting late and I'm watching the Tour at the moment) then my wife and I might call in next Sunday, but I am very wary of apostolic groups so things will have to look at least fairly reasonable on the outside before I go in.

Anyway back to the bike race.

I drove down to their operations today in Lysterfield but unfortunately the staff had a day off so I could only briefly speak to a member of the congregation who happened to be there.

Even though their bulletin states that Philip& Yvonne Kitchen along with a Hilda Peers are apparently in charge, the church member did say that Yvonne is the boss and going by the very feminine decor of the building I would say that the “apostle-prophet” Yvonne is definitely the king pin.

I came across a brochure in their foyer which was primarily about their recent trip to the UK where they had a “spiritual explosion in the UK” which was apparently held at Wombourne and Tonbridge. They included a number of photos in their brochure and it seems that the main meeting at one of these venues where the ‘spiritual explosion’ occurred probably only had upwards of 100 people in attendance.

I spoke to a friend today who knew of her ministry and I was told that they were big into deliverance ministry which was also mentioned by the church member who also told me that their Sunday meeting starts at 10am and can go on till about 3PM where they will pray for individuals with serious needs. Their own auditorium had seats laid out for about 100 people thought the auditorium could probably hold around 600+.

When I checked their website it only showed their books and DVDs but they did seem to be a bit overpriced.

As my wife and I only had a brief sojourn into the world of the ‘apostle-prophet’ Yvonne, I was not able to get a really good picture of what was happening but you would have to wonder why after at least 3 plus years their meetings only have about 100 people in attendance. Their church is located on a sizable highly prized block of land that must be worth millions.

If I can get up the courage my wife and I might even attend a Sunday meeting just out or curiosity, though I might have the car parked for a quick and easy get-a-way.

apparently an 'expert' on deliverance in the area of free masonry - like Jay Bartlett somewhat of a specialist ministry to those in serious bondage, but I'm told goes far deeper in her teaching.

Yeah, it looks like two out of the three books offered on their website are about Freemasonry. Since no one in my family has ever been involved with Freemasons, it's really not a subject that I have ever cared to study at any length.

The third book is about Jezebel, which is kind of funny considering Biblicist was told the lady was in charge. :)

lismore - your faith icon says you are Baptist. I don't know if you are, but most Baptists that I know personally have not encountered much of the "deliverance" emphasis teachings that are out there. You might want to do some internet research on the subject to get a more rounded view of where these folks are coming from. Of course there are many different branches and schools of thought out there, but most of the modern deliverance stuff I have found can be traced back to Derek Prince one way or another. I don't know if there is an earlier source, as so far I have not been able to discover where he got his teachings from. But that might be a good starting point from a research standpoint.

Jezebel was a woman in the bible true, but since then the word Jezebel stands for a spirit. Jezebel spirit can be in a man or a woman.

    What is the Jezebel spirit?

Question: "What is the Jezebel spirit?"

Jezebel manifests all the time in 95% of those sort of meetings - basically a control freak Spirit - found mostly in women , and sometimes in men. In women when they want to wear the trousers and Lord it over men mainly. In Men who want to dominate and intimidate anybody and everybody.

Yes, a controlling spirit ... a seducing spirit.

I'm sorry but getting close to a Jezebel spirit may make the hairs on your neck raise but it doesn't put you into a trance and make you a follower.

We can't walk in that kind of fear of spirits, it is important to know who we are in Christ and he has overcome the devil and gives us the same authority, in His name.
Do be prayerful about what kind of teaching you allow into your soul but prayerfully when you're using discernment you will have to expose yourself to discern anything. When in doubt stay away until you feel confident in who you are in Christ.
    God bless, andrea

I've found that her anti masonry stance is laughable. She promotes that she has a prayer that will lead you from the curse of freemasonry.

Her contention is basically any bad thing that's ever happened to you is due to someone in your families history being involved with masonry.

I know, it's more comical than anything else. There are half dozen or so folks out there that push this concept.

To me it's just something else people can blame things on. The extremely weak people in society have to have someone to blame things on. Because your 3rd great uncle was a mason, that's why you drink, steal, and lie. Has nothing at all to do with you or your choices.

    Hello

I was involved with Fruitful Vine International Ministries for 7 years until the Father pulled me out. I first went to meetings because of the obvious impact of the masonic on my family. I now know FV is a cult and delves deeply into very demonic realms.

The 'leader' Yvonne Kitchen is indeed a goddess and nothing happens unless she says so and you come under her authority. She calls it divine order. Yvonne considers herself an apostle prophet to the nations and also includes pastor, teacher and evangelist amongst her titles.

She is VERY dangerous. The spirit flowing through her was not one of love, compassion and mercy. Many folk have left her fellowship over the years as she won't listen to concerns about her teachings or ways of dealing with people. There have been financial irregularities in the ministry with a court case involving laundered money.

I spent over £33,000 on trips to Australia, seeing her here in the UK and on her very expensive and faulty materials. My marriage was almost blown apart too.

I have only myself to blame as I was bible illiterate when I became involved with Fruitful Vine Ministries. I have spent time repenting before the Father and also asked my family for forgiveness. I have chosen to forgive Yvonne too which is difficult but so important.

Nothing is wasted however, the Father is in control and the good thing is since leaving I have had my nose in the word like never before and now know very clearly that the Father was testing me as she is a false prophet and deceiver.

We shouldn't be surprised because in the last days we are told the wolves will increase. My marriage is being healed too but by THE healer not a woman as I have chosen to submit to Him.

    Deuteronomy 13

13 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.

I hold fast to Him now, I fear Him and love Him with all my heart and soul; it is the safest place to be.

I implore you all to test everything and go to the King FIRST not man. The Father is speaking directly to His sheep as the shepherds are leading them astray. The word also says: My people are deceived through lack of knowledge.

I was indeed deceived because of lack of knowledge.

    Shalom
