Free interpretation of the Genesis 3:5 KJV

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Ignoring the will of the Supreme Being, the human decides himself what is true to him and what is false to him. He becomes as the omniscient god. The false god, with false omniscience.

There are many "false gods" in the Psychiatric Clinics. The patient believes, what his fantasies and convictions are the objective reality (because any nonsense a "false god" thinks, is the false Reality), and he insults his sane doctors.

The sinner does not believe in own divinity for the same reason: he could be the false god. A god can do and can think what ever He wants: the opinion of a god is the objective reality... as the delusion of this false god.

ABOUT THE HELL:

Prior to Creation there was no time. Nobody can expect such craziness as a sin, because the crazy satan (the possessed joker in the Batman movies) is the author of any sin (so, the sinners are under the copyright terms). So, the Creator has created the Universe without any plan to create the hell.

As I'm lead to understand, the two trees in the garden are analogues of the two covenants. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is the law which gives knowledge of sin or, good and evil: Romans 3:20, Romans 7:7 and which knowledge reveals the "naked" state of unrighteous men (having no 'white linen' of righteousness: Revelation 19:8 ): through knowledge of sin, death enters: Romans 7:9-11 which is why Adam and Eve "died the death" after having their "eyes opened" to "the knowledge of good and evil"

The first thing Adam and Eve tried to do was cover their own nakedness by their own works i.e. sewing aprons of fig leaves; but this did nothing but incure the curse of the Lord.

The Tree of Life is the grace and truth of Christ (John 1:17), that is, faith in hope and love, which grant life eternal through the new covenant, without the works of the law. But as Adam and Eve were "driven forth" from the presence of God, so were those under the law, driven forth, until the time was fulfilled that Christ should make atonement and reconciliation. This is the fiery sword which is the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God: Ephesians 6:17 which grants access to the Tree of Life through faith: Romans 10:17

Dear joinfree. To Christian belief, Genesis is where God starts to talk to us, and we believe. God is our Heavenly Father, and Christianity starts with Genesis, the whole Bible is true.
Adam and Eve starts the human race, and all talk about Dinosaurs and other strange stories are untrue.
