Former Bernie supporters, remember Hillary's basement comments about you?

Press Minimizes Exposure of Hillary's 'Living in Their Parents' Basement' Ridicule of Sanders Supporters

"The press is going to extraordinary lengths to minimize the visibility of Hillary Clinton's damaging and disparaging February remarks at a fundraiser about how Bernie Sanders' supporters "are living in their parents’ basement," and how half of them don't know what ('just like Scandinavia') means" — stereotyping digs which don't survive even the most rudimentary efforts at fact-checking."

Dear Hillary, STOP insulting the voters!

Remember the last Presidential election? When Hillary said she'd work to insure no one who wanted to go to college would receive a bill for tuition? That she's going to work with Sanders on that plan he had put forth during his own campaigning? A campaign he wasn't aware was being conspired against by the Democratic National Committee?
But there she's talking about people that think to want free college tuition?

But before that.....

Hillary Clinton is finally realizing that she needs to adopt some of Bernie Sanders' policies to win over reluctant young voters. Her proposal is actually solid; however, it came too little, too late. It's evident she's only proposing this because her arm was twisted, but whether or not she'll actually fight for it is an entirely different story.

So…she wants to appeal to the cellar dwellers. :)

Most basement males won't find voting for Hillary alluring. She probably reminds them of their overbearing mother who repeatedly hawks them to stop playing video games and get a job and be independent. :)

I saw a post from an agnostic here once opining that young men today have little incentive to marry a post modern woman.

He said from his university experience college aged women view most men as potential sex predators and not potential relationships.

I dunno, but I took that as it might have been meant more as a sympathetic comment and not a disparaging one. We all pretty much know a few millennials living in their parent's basements, unable to find well-paying jobs, even with hard earned college degrees. Some will always live in their parents basements. What paychecks they do earn mystifyingly always seem to go toward upgrading the latest cell phones and gaming systems.

Regardless, Bernie has officially thrown his support behind Hillary Clinton, even earnestly and actively campaigning for her, while condemning Trump in the strongest of terms. Either he took the comment the same way I did, or, he threw his millennial supporters under the bus and doesn't deserve their continued loyalty. And?

Not potential sex predators. More like potential dependents a hard working, independent woman is unable to claim on her taxes. (Your agnostic friend gets no second dates--not for coming on to a woman, but because he never takes out his perpetually empty wallet. That's what he doesn't dare face.)

Bernie Sanders in my mind is the ultimate schmo. He was the mouthpiece for ideas that he himself must have known are archaic and impractical.
If he actually believed in the ideas that he got the young and the naive to rally around, he might have actually have taken the fight to Hillary, and attacked her on her many flaws and corrupt practices.

The Democratic establishment merely treated him as the wuss that he was, and let him play the part of Hillary's fall guy.

He believed in unifying himself to the corruption of the Democratic party more than he believed in his ideas. When it came as a choice between being true to his supporters, or being true to The Party, he acquiesced to the Powers-that-Be.
He is acquiescing still, even when it is too late to even matter.
