For the culture to be healthy the Church must be the Church

perhaps a better explaination might be found in Genesis?
Everything within the garden that God created was good.
and the garden included two trees; the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil.
eve's choice is still being made today by the world, and for the same reasons.

fortunately for us, the Tree of Life is still available to be chosen.
but it comes with a price;
and that price is the rejection by the world, not of the world.

Even so did Christ not say upon seeing Jerusalem during Holy Week that He would have taken her in under His wings and His protection for love of her, and yet she would not?

it is the same today with the world.
