    Would it be racist to prefer the dark chocolate fetuses? I simply can't think of anything pink colored that tastes good.

    It gets even worse when you read the article. The Christian minister who did this is actually puzzled that people are upset. Apparently, he wanted to inject the pro-life movement into Halloween.

    “We’re still trying to understand where the offense is at,” Edmonds said. “We think it’s with the assumption that when we talk about life in the womb, it’s about abortion. But the whole concept of the event, the point of the outreach, the point of the models (are) we should respect life.”

    Does anyone want to take bets as to whether this gentleman is against school sex education because it is the parents' right to take care of that at home as they see fit?

    That settles it, homemade chocolate fetuses will be served at the next opportunity! Well, once I discover how to make them, I'll work on that.

    This simply isn't offensive enough to be funny.

    So we should show our respect for life in the womb by handing out plastic toys with cheap candy? Toys that will be left in the bottom of the toy chest, colored on, chewed up by the family dog, or just simply thrown out? How is that showing respect for unborn?

    Other than that I think the plastic fetus are funny. I would be the one paying kids to go get me some from that guy so that for my next year's Halloween costume I could have zombie fetuses....

    How anyone could think that nobody would be disturbed by this is what I find disturbing. No matter your views on abortion, this is just inappropriate.

    Who said a 12 week old fetus is just a glob of cells? Also, handing out mini toys isn't education because there really was no message given with the toys, just the toy.

    But.. where was the education? Throwing plastic fetus replicas into trick or treat bags is just weird. Either give the kids some candy, or stick to being the cranky guy who sits in the armchair refusing to answer the door on halloween. Plastic babies are just that.. plastic babies.

    It's amazing how so many people feel free to educate children not their own about reproduction, abortion etc... but have a hissy fit if anyone tells their kid anything. I can teach my kids just fine thank you, keep your plastic babies to yourself.
