Yes. To believe is to repent of your sin of unbelief.

You believe God exists and the gospel of Christ, and seek him with all your heart. He sends you his Spirit and the Spirit of Christ which is when faith arises. The Spirit leads you after Christ which is repentance.

Faith is a gift which comes with the Spirit of promise. Granted people can believe the promise without the Spirit and they still call it faith, but its dead.

Likewise repentance is something God grants and leads you into, but nothing to stop people from claiming it by their own works, but it never yields truth.

People will believe whatever supports their position, or whatever validates their beliefs. You have over 30,000 denomination to choose one that fits your beliefs. Have at it, but I won't engage in these contentions.

If you are indeed saved, it began when Christ came into your heart and that was all God's mercy. After which God shows you his salvation and that is through faith.

Believing is not faith, but walking after is faith. Good luck with it without being born again.
