When I fisrt heard this I thought "Who in their right mind would want THIS guy consulting on disaster preparedness?" Then I remembered - they hire ex-cons for 'how to burglar prrof your home', 'what not to do' in certain situations. They hire paroled pedophiles to tell kids/parents how to avoid trouble. Maybe it's similar?

Really I can't imagine who would hire him. Such an uncaring, unqualified, well I have a lot of names for him, but none of them are good.

I suppose he feels he has enough "contacts" to make plenty of money though.
