There was another, smaller, Earthquake there today.. a 6.1 or 6.3 one; they suspect there will be aftershocks for a few months.

Yeah, that's been a bit of a hot button for the news and a lot of forums lately too; it's crazy how they're comparing it to Katrina... it's even crazier how people are saying that this was all some sort of Karma for Pearl Harbor.

Asian cultures are fairly well reserved, so this doesn't surprise me at all.

Update - My friend Noriko contacted me as of Friday morning. And my other friends families in the heart of the earthquake are all fine.

My main concern now is all my friends living within a 300 mile radius that they find another place to go and also my friends that are traveling to the area to help will be protected and fine. CRASH is the main christian organization giving aid there.
