do you think Bernie will be eaten alive by Hillary in the upcoming debate?

one thing really frustrates me about Bernie campaign is it seem so amateurish

in all fairness, he stuck to his principle by refusing to set up a PAC , along with all it dirty money

but still, I remember reading Double Down: Game change 2012, it was talking about preparation for the presidential election debate, I think both Obama and Romney hired top tiered professionals to help them get ready for them, including mock debates and getting a person to play their opponents, in Obama's case, John Kerry, because he knew Mitt Romney style well, and all the while those mock debates were analysed by those professionals mercilessly.

I am sure that is what Hillary is doing right now.

not to mention Hillary is used to debates......

I hope Bernie will take those debates seriously, and do what he should doing.....

Bernie is the real deal.

I agree

but the only way he will win the nomination as well the general election, is if can CONVINCE enough people that he IS the real deal.

it is not enough to just "be" the real deal

you have to be "perceived" as one too.

I mean why do you think there are so many people out there who support the Republicans?

even though all they do is trying to cut the tax for the rich, and fattening up their wall street buddies, all at middle class and poor' expense?

it makes ZERO sense that so many of those who earns under 200000 a year would support Republicans, but THEY DO!

many of them are DIE HARDS who watch Fox all the day long, and actually believe all the crap Republicans feed them.

True. I vote for the person not the party. I don't agree 100% with Bernie but I know he fights for his principles over special interests groups.

I like him and I think he'll take the debate seriously, but I agree that his image seems kind of amateurish. Even when his words aren't angry, his tone comes across as angry, and the anger loses its impact as it just becomes monotonous. He also tends to fall into repeating his same talking points instead of thoughtfully answering questions.

I can't think of a reason why Bernie wouldn't take the debate seriously.

-CryptoLutheran

i am not saying he personally wont take the debate very seriously

I think he absolutely will

in fact, I could not think of another politician who is as serious as he is when it comes to understanding the struggles average americans faces, and the desire of wanting to do something about it.

what I was trying to say was I get the impression his campaign is not organized and professional?

why? well it is hard for an outsider to gauge.

maybe because of lack of fund? or because Bernie know without a PAC, he need to conserve fund, that is why his campaign is spending so little right now?

but I am sure Bernie is doing what he think is best.

that said, Bernie's Archille's heel has already been exposed multiple times by now

one recently at the interview he has done with that creep David Axlerod

Bernie seem to struggle to explain the specifics......

not to mention his attempt at introducing universal health care failed at Vermont?

I mean, that just make me wonder of the calibre of advisor he has right now?

i mean in most presidential campaign, you generally need top notch advisor to advice potential candidates on issues range from foreign policies to domestic?

who knows, maybe Bernie could not attract any, because of the fear within the Democrat party, thinking Hillary will be elected?

but either way, it is not good

especially given what a shark Hillary is, do you think she wont go after Bernie's weakness with the kind of ferocity she usually exbihit?

this woman got such as silver tongue,, not to mention her campaign has put together a team of top notch talent.

Bernie is screwed if you ask me.

I think the problem might be that Bernie is used to being honest, and because he has stuck to his principle over the years.

I am sure he has never been put in situations where he has got some serious explaining to do.

hence he never master of how to think quick on ones feet as well as spinning.

Hillary on the other hand, is the ultimate survivor in scandals of her own making.

and she is a champion liar.

she should write a book on how to master the dark art of dodging, spinning, mud slinging and lying!

no one could out debate that woman!

especially not Bernie, who is way too honest.

Giving an honest, serious presentation of what he stands for is all that Bernie has to do. He'll stay with talking about the issues, presenting what the differences between him and Hillary are and make his case to the voters. What more is there? To attack Clinton's pantsuit? That's what the networks will want but it won't be delivered.

Just for the record... he has been known to crack a smile too.

I think you may be surprised by him tonight if this is truly what you think he comes across as. I also think that there's a difference between being serious rather than angry. It's not bad to be seriously angry at many of the policies of our nation that hurt so many people.

He'll not be elected President. However, I don't see Hillary faltering in the debate. She's got the best prep team money can buy I'm sure.
Would Sanders be the oldest elected were he to win the presidential election?

I like the first question and his answer here. Indigenous activists should take note.

Given her history it makes zero sense so many believe Hillary is the smartest woman in the world, but they do. Or that she will dominate the other candidates simply because she is Hillary, but they do.

Many of them are DIE HARDS who watch Fox all the day long, and actually believe all the crap Republicans feed them.

Yeah, right, that is all "those people" do all day, watch FOX News. Could you be any more obtuse?

You all act like this will actually be a debate tonight.
It is on CNN....Clinton News Network
Anderson Cooper is moderator (Clintonite)
Democrat Party will NOT allow Bernie to win the nomination...PERIOD.

So Clinton will get the softball questions...Bernie will get questions that make him out to be the wackjob socialist he is.

And sorry...if Bernie were telling you who he really is...he would not be so popular.

Well, you also have to consider who's moderating the debate as well... A known & vocal Hillary supporter moderating this thing tonight isn't going to do Bernie any favors.

My bets are on the Clinton strategy of "hammer Sanders for being too weak on gun control"

Anderson Cooper was a member of the Clinton Global Initiative. Do you really think she would allow herself to be put into a situation where she had to answer real questions about her felonious past?
