Is there a proper way of disposing rosary beads?

    Bury them.

Or send the to me. I repair/distribute them to the Mission, etc.

Or...leave them ay your local Catholic Church. Someone will rescue them.

    Thats cool!

    I didn't know that.

The only thing I know how to properly dispose of is holy water. And it's not really disposing. it's more like what to do if you spill it.

    :)

burial with prayers and blessings is the custom of the hebrews and jews of when scrolls become too old for use. i never thought of it before with the rosary beads in the same context... interesting...

*oyea, im new round these parts so don't shoot me*

    edit to add,

    buried in a wooden box
