Did you remember to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Our Lady this morning?

A gentle reminder, - the 8th of September is the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please do not forget Our Lady because she never forgets you.

It was some years ago now when I was at a Christmas Mass a group of small children came out from the congregation, stood in front of the altar and sang 'Happy Birthday' to Jesus+.
So this morning after I had said Matins and prayed my devotions to Our Lady I joyously raised up my voice and sang 'Happy Birthday' to her.
I have been teaching myself how to make Rosaries and Chaplets and this morning I slipped my very first handmade 'Chaplet of the Little Crown' over the hands of the statue of Our Lady as an offering.

If you want to do something positive during this silly time of election fever, get some suitable cord and make Rosaries by the dozen and give them away to everyone you meet.

We do evey year We also sing Happy Birthday to my baby boy, who is 11 today. (LOL! Lots of Marian ties- my first baby was born on the Annunciation, my husband's birthday is on the feast of the presentation of the BVM, we were married on the feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal....do you think God's trying to tell me something??? )
