The JLP has been talking about letting the diaspora vote.

Why should persons living outside of Jamaica be allowed the privilege of voting.

Have not these persons swear loyalty to another country.

Are they living in Jamaica day to day trying to survive?

How can the voting be a fair process?

What will members of the diaspora based their vote on? Word of mouth? Traditional political leanings, where you vote based on a particular party, and not what the party does?

And for persons who may not realize is, sometimes when Jamaicans live in other countries, they adopt other lifestyles, and they accept it as being normal. They will have no problem trying to bring that here in Jamaica through diaspora voting.
