I'm so shocked this doesn't have any replies. Please tell me your story too. I think dating has been hard for me because I haven't been telling people I have a mental illness. I kinda keep it a secret for a long time. It's hard finding someone who will understand and actually it's hard for me to find someone who doesn't want only sex. I've had a hard time dating. I'm 26 and I worry if my financial situation will be an issue and I haven't met anyone who's really looking for a relationship. These are my struggles.

Hi, Bumbletree! I'm schizophrenic and have also had a tough time with dating. I'm a guy, so it must be different for a woman. I can be shallow so it must also be my fault I don't have no ladies in my life. I am about 35 pounds overweight because of my medications. It really sucks! I wish you the best! May Christ love and bless you! Christ loves his female followers more than his male followers I believe! Women truly are special.

I have schizophrenia also, we are born in the same year so we are the same age. I just wanted to let you know. Shallow? Interesting. I am overweight because of my meds too, I just lost 20 pounds. I think men are adorable (the nice ones) so that's great. God bless you!
