I have found so many people who find the courage to enter the wounds of Jesus by saying to him , " Lord , I am here . Accept my poverty . Hide my sin in your wounds , and wash it away with your blood . "

" And I always see that God does just this . He welcomes , consoles , cleanses and loves . "

" In order to solve their problems , many people resort to fortunetellers and tarot cards . But only Jesus saves , and we must bear witness to this ! He is the only one . "

" If we look at Jesus , Wisdom of the Incarnate God , we realise that difficulties become challenges . Challenges appeal to hope , and hope makes us joyfully aware that we are creators of something new , thus encouraging us to continue giving the best of ourselves ."

" Encountering Jesus always entails a call , great or small , but always a call . This call happens at any time and is pure gratuitousness , but an encounter that has to be sought for , sometimes with heroic constancy or clamour , and the search is not free from confusion and doubt . "

" Jesus awakens great hopes , especially in the hearts of the simple , the humble , the poor , the forgotten , those who do not matter in the eyes of the world . He understands human suffering . He shows the face of God's mercy , and always bends down to heal body and soul . "

" Welcome the Risen Christ into your life as a friend , with trust . He is Life ! "

" Ours is a joy that comes not from having many possessions , but from having met a person , Jesus , who has a message for us : mercy . Let us ask for the grace not to get tired of asking for forgiveness , because he never gets tired of forgiving . "

Young people , you must say to the world :

" To follow Christ is good ,

love Christ is good ,

the message of Christ is good ,

announce Him to the ends of the earth is good . "

" We are like the Apostles in the Gospel . Often we would prefer to hold on to our security , to stand in front of a tomb , to think about someone who has died , someone who ultimately lives only as a memory , like the great historical figures from the past . We are afraid of God's surprises ! He always surprises us ! Jesus is the our everlasting "today" of God . "

" Our daily problems and worries can lead us to sadness and bitterness......and that's where death is . That is not the place to look for the One who is alive ! "

" We , Christians , may do as much as we want , but if we do not confess Jesus Christ , we become a pitiful NGO , not the Church , not the Bride of Christ . "

" Today Jesus , at first glance , may appear to be boring , and not so exciting , but in him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and charity , all the richness of love , faith and hope . "

" In the today of Jesus there is no room for fear or uncertainty or anguish or conflicts because in the Lord's today " love overcomes fear and uncertainty , anguish and conflicts . ""

" There is no place for anguish for today is in the hands of the Father , " who knows very well what we need " and in his hands we feel that " each day has enough trouble of its own . ""

" How does God console ? Certainly not with pious platitudes like , " after all the tribulation is not as bad as it seems . " On the contrary , he allows us to see the suffering that has befallen us in all its horrors , but silently and calmly he shows us heaven . "

" In the greatest abandonment on the cross , Jesus pronounces the word "Father" with human tenderness carried to the limit , and with that same tenderness he pronounces it also in heaven . "

" The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not the happy end of a movie . It is the intervention of God against and above any human hope , as it proclaims as "Lord" the one who accepted the path of defeat so that the power of the Father may be revealed and glorified . "

" The love Jesus proposes is free and unlimited , and that's why many consider his teaching unreasonable and crazy , preferring instead to go along the trodden path of mediocrity . "

" Look around you . How many wounds our personal sins inflict on humanity : wars and violence , economic conflicts which especially asphyxiate the weakest , the thirst for money , power , corruption , divisions and crimes against human life and creation . In short , it all boils down to our failure to love and respect God and our neighbour . But let us look even more intently at Jesus on the cross , assuming and carrying upon his shoulders all the sins and failures of humankind and , with the strength of the love of God , conquering and defeating them all with his resurrection . "
