I was right. You can find a man that will take it out of context and interpret in in a new way.
Therefore what Jesus said to that rich man few verses before was actually addressed to everyone(if you persistently interpret it for every living person).

I'm largly unaware of anything happening in China that AV could have been triggered.

Did they find a Christian who sold all his possessions and gave to the poor? That would be a miracle.

nope, and neither are you.
there is no j sound in hebrew, which is the language the tanakh was written in, if you have a problem with that, you have a problem with christianity and judaism

also there is no j sound in greek, which is what the NT was written in, if you have a problem with that, then you have a problem with christianity. the fact is, christianity like everything has a history, and you are making the choice to run away from that history instead of embracing it.

one of the pieces of history being that during the course of anglicizing the names in the bible, the greek was rendered with a j because of the translation between greek and english, which seems to be solely a mangling of the greek letter I

you attempt to, poorly, usually attempting to use a bible verse that has no direct context or meaning to what the argument is over.
at most you believe because words that kind of appear to you to sound good are in the bible they have authority.

so what? jesus is. take your own advice and look at the context, jesus is talking about people who care more about money than other people or their souls.

sheesh, this is what i'm talking about, you think the bible is a weapon to be thrust at people, as if the words will cleave everything, even when you are using it wrong.
